Lying on the early, steep slopes of ‘Silver Mountain‘ where the excavation of Roman ruins identified the silver ore from which the mountain was named, the vineyard‘s combination of slate and a loess/clay produces Spätburgunder at once powerful and yet evocatively elegant.
