Coclicò, or ‘orange poppy’ in the local dialect is a skin contact white wine that evokes the hue of its namesake flower. After spontaneous fermentation and 12 days on the skins this wine is aged in traditional vessels for 9 months and then spends another 3 months in bottle. It opens with a complex and harmonious nose redolent of citrus, dried fruits and fennel along with poppy and acacia flowers. Intense and elegant with distinct minerality and lovely weight. Bottled unfiltered.
